ABOUT THE FIGURATIVE DIRECTION OF MODERN CRIMEAN ARCHITECTURE

Abstract
The authors of the article highlight the issue of the presence and competitive confrontation of two main trends in modern architecture: utilitarian-technological, denying the cultural achievements of past eras, on the one hand (modernism) and historical tradition, on the other hand, asserting the connection between the past and the present, calling for continuation and development national architectural heritage. The problem of influence on students and architectural youth of radical ideas of pseudo-advanced demagogic-revolutionary properties, unacceptable in architecture, inherited to us in the form of atavism of the Soviet past, is considered. A brief historical overview of the changes in the architecture of the 20th and early 21st centuries is made. evaluative and analytical content in order to reveal the causes of the crisis in the formation of the environment at the present time. As a way out of this crisis, an example of solving a similar situation in the second half of the 19th century, in the era of national historicism and eclecticism, is offered. The unity of the ideological orientation of architecture with stylistic diversity is of national importance in two main aspects: national-ideological and economic. The economic aspect is disclosed and substantiated separately as a proposal to strengthen the bias of the imagery of the Crimean architecture towards the local historical tradition. This is a means of attracting tourists, and tourism is one of the main sources of filling the regional budget.
Goals of the work:
- to promote the formation of a unity of urban planning policy on the Crimean Peninsula, aimed at the reconstruction of architectural heritage objects and the development of historical traditions in architecture;
- to overcome the negative influence of the principles and methods of Soviet modernism on the work of Crimean architects;
- pay attention to the economic significance of the reconstructive and historical orientation of the architecture of the peninsula.
